Phyllis Mary Ryan Cadlo, age 87, of Billings formerly of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings.
Phyllis was born on September 18, 1921 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of John J. and Glady (Myers) Ryan. She attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from high school in Fargo. They later moved back to Minneapolis and Phyllis worked there until she met Joe Cadlo. Phyllis and Joe were married on September 4, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Joe went to school and graduated from the University of Minnesota. They moved to Forsyth in 1947 and lived there until 1956 when they moved back to Minnesota. They later moved to Broadus and then in 1961, they moved to Miles City. In 1993, Phyllis moved to Pine Haven, Wyoming to be near her family. In 2001, she moved to Billings, Montana where she remained until the time of her death.
Phyllis is survived by two sons: C. Mitchell (Laurie) Cadlo of Omaha, NE; and Kurt (Sondi) Cadlo of Billings, MT; a daughter Hilary DeLaO (Dennis Tebeau) of Rapid City, SD; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, and a son, Tony Cadlo.
A Vigil service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City.
