Priscilla Louise Terrett, age 91 of Miles City, passed away on September 2, 2013 at the Holy Rosary Extended care in Miles City.

Louise was born on August, 26, 1922 in Miles City, MT; the daughter of Julian Terrett Sr. and Marion Lantz Terrett. She attended her early years of schooling on the J O ranch, as well as two years of school at the Custer County District High School. The family moved to Washington D.C. where she completed her high school education at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, D.C., graduating in 1939. After high school Louise attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA where she was a member in the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She graduated with a degree in sociology and psychology in 1944. Upon graduation, Louise returned to the ranch where she lived the majority of her life, moving to the Eagles Manor in 2003.

Louise was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching the news, politics, Jeopardy and Lawrence Welk. She loved traveling across the world; her travels included an extensive tour through Europe, New Zealand, Australia, England, Alaska and the Balkan Countries. Louise prided herself on being the family historian and always paid great attention to detail. She was a wonderful cook and especially loved to make Christmas goodies.  She was a member of GFWC Miles City Woman’s Club, CowBelles, and the Range Riders Reps.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ellen Terrett of Miles City; two nephews, Jay (Debbie) Terrett of Colstrip, MT and Curtis Terrett of Miles City; one niece, Nancy (Stan) Markuson of Miles City; great nephews: Will (Danielle) Terrett, Cody Terrett and Pete Markuson; great nieces: Jaylene (Dade) Allison, Jody (Tony) Reda, Johnna (Jim) Goodwin and Megan Markuson and four great-great nephews and three great-great nieces. Terrett Family,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of grief. Aunt Louise was an extremely sweet and caring person. She always seemed more interested in knowing how we were doing, than how she was doing. Your loss, is God’s gain.

To All of the Terrett’s: Our families have intertwined and gone back a lot of years together.
Beatsie will be truly missed by us all. Our family has great memories of her (being your neighbor) out on the Tongue River. I can just see her visiting with Dad and filling him in on all the happenings.
Love to you all, Joe, Cathy, Christa, Collette, and Cari.

My sincere condolences to the family of Priscilla Louise Terrett – May you find comfort in your loving memories, beautiful pictures and in recalling the many talents of Ms. Terrett. God did not purpose that mankind suffer and die and has promised that a time will come when no one will say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24) Our loving Creator has promised that soon pain and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). The Paradise that was originally promised for the earth in the Garden of Eden will be restored. (Psalm 37:29) Please be comforted by Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3).

Add your thoughts and memories. Upon approval they will be added.
