Quintin was great at cheering me up. I will miss his smile. He had a quiet way about him that gave you the
confidence to talk about just about anything. I have not seen him much in the last two years but it was our
school loss and mine personally. We rode back and forth to school for at least two years. I truly am going to
miss running into him as I travel through South East Montana. He was a very good man, and friend.

Quintin was a friend who was kind to me after I lost my oldest son Chris. My sister Candy and I had stopped by his office to visit. He knew how sad I was about my son’s loss. He asked if he could pray for me. I said yes. While he was praying, I started crying. He handed me some Kleenex and comforted me after his prayer. He loved the Lord and was a wonderful man. He is also the brother of Leigh who was married to my son Matt. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he RIP.

R.M. Xomoo'o says
Condolences to Quentin’s family and friends. Very intelligent man. Always enjoyed visiting with him, hearing his calm approach and keen observations on the things that were going on within the Northern Cheyenne community. Was always good to visit with him and hear his wisdom. He shared a lot of his observations about what he saw going on with the youth, which I took into consideration with the work that I was doing. He was a strong believer in prayer. At times he would send me messages to check up on me and share good throughts of prayer. Wanted to share my words of encouragement to continue on with the good way of living that Quention believed in and give support to others who share that with his family and friends.

My heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Quintin’s family. So Sorry for your loss.
I became friends with Quintin back in the late 70’s at Blgs Senior High and saw him frequently around town while he was attending EMC. He was a quiet kind soul with a honorable countenance about him. I lost touch with him over the years but was lucky enough to run into him about 15 years ago and he told me about how he was counseling and helping his people on the reservation. I could tell he was in his element as he was so very proud and at peace with where the Good Lord had put him. It didn’t surprise me that he would become a man of service – he always had those characteristics as a young man. I’m sad I won’t see him and his smile again this side if heaven.
Chayil Kingfisher says
I’m going to miss my dad, he looked out for me my entire life. I never could find the right words to say when I was him at the hospital that night, just before he’d passed away. All I know is that I hope to see him again. I miss when he would take me and Shay out to the rims when we couldn’t sleep, or when he and I would call each other silly nicknames. I miss his smile, his laugh, and I just miss his hugs the most. He was the best dad I could ever have. And I wanted to thank everyone who gas helped with his services, and those that have prayed for him. Even those that knew him, thank you. Thank you for being in his life.
