Quentin Robert Small was born March 13, 1972 to Amy Foote and Clifford Small Sr. He journeyed home October 30, 2020 at the age of 48. Quentin always had a smile and love for outdoor life he enjoyed fishing, hunting, cruising the hills, and horseback riding. The glue to his family, he always made sure everyone stuck together. At a young age he showed a great interest of how machines work. Taking apart toasters, coffee makers, clocks, Tinkering with tools, etc. Which was the beginning of his talents in mechanics and ironworking. After his graduation from high school, at Billings Senior in 1990, Quentin worked at Northern Cheyenne Pine company.
In 1992, Quentin met and fell in love with Priscilla Warbonnet. The couple blessed the family with three beautiful sons Quentin Jr, Bradley Charles, and Thunder James. The young family man, Quentin knew he had to do more. The summer of 1995 he left to the national ironworkers training program for American Indians in Chicago, Illinois. Earning a certificate to be an ironworker. A very proud accomplishment for him. This opened doors for his love of labor.
Throughout his life Quentin had jobs in many technical fields. Places such as western energy, Northern cheyenne Tribal Housing Authority, and construction for roads. Always a hard worker he did his best to make sure that family could rely on him for help no matter what.
In an unfortunate turn, Quentin had found himself in some trouble which led him to spend some time in a correctional facility. In this rehabilitation he found a hidden talent in beadwork and ceremony. Like others he returned to his family a free and loving man.
Quentin‘s last year, he had a smile on his face and a big concern for others. Not being a perfect man, he knew life was tough but, with God he would be able to love life again.
