Together they spent the next 55 years as loving parents, raising 9 children and several grandchildren and other adopted children. He had many occupations throughout this life, which included a laborer, a farm machinery operator, construction, truck driver, and had a wood cutting business for several years.

He enjoyed playing pool and attending rodeos and powwows and was an excellent hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by a son Leonard Oscar Ogle and a granddaughter, Whitney Marie Ogle, both of Poplar and a grandson Brandon Red Boy of Wolf Point.
