Rebecca Becky Diane (Rentschler) Pyle Ruiz, age 45, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 in Miles City.

Becky Ruiz was born on June 13th 1959 in Marion Ohio to Ben and Bertha Rentschler. Along with her brothers and sister, she was raised in the Marion/Green Camp area of that state. She attended local schools there, including Green Camp Elementary and Elgin High School. As a young woman she married Jamie Hawkins, whom she had known all of her childhood. Of that union, one son was born, Jeremy James Hawkins. Becky had spent some time in Miles City in the very early 1970's, but had elected to return to Marion where she stayed until 1980. At that time she and her son came back to Miles City, where she stayed until she passed away. During the last 24 years that she was in Miles City, Becky first married Donnie Pyle, but had been married, to her husband, Larry Ruiz for many years. With an employment history that was wide and varied, Becky was a hard working, no nonsense lady. Over the years she had worked at Gallaghers, The Innovation Cafee, The Cellar, The Cadillac, The Olive, but most of her years here were spent working at the Flying J Restaurant.

She had a very strong sense of family values and took care of her nephew Ronnie Guldborg after her mother and step father passed away.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Ben Rentschler Sr., her mother Bertha Guldborg, her stepfather, Ken Guldborg, her brother, Ron Rentschler and her sister, Bonnie Winkley. Her survivors include her husband, Larry Ruiz of Miles City, her son Jeremy Hawkins of Miles City, her brother, Ben Rentschler of Miles City, a nephew Ronnie Guldborg of Miles City, a niece, Tansen Winkey of Billings and a vast multitude of friends who will never forget her.
