Richard R. Linnell, age 90, of Miles City went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 28, 2003 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care.
Richard was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin on January 22, 1923 the son of Edward and Liecetta (Green) Linnell. He was the youngest of eleven brothers and sisters. His family moved to Minnesota in 1915 where he worked at various jobs. He was ordained minister of the Emmanuel Gospel Assembly Church in Duluth for many years. He and Mabel Perkins were married in 1942. She died in 1984. In 1986, he moved to Montana to live with his niece Neva until her death in 1997 at which time he moved to the Holy Rosary Extended Care.
Richard had 46 nieces and nephews including George Linnell and Lydia Fleming of Miles City. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mabel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2003 in the chapel in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Healthcare center Chapel. Interment will be held on Monday, January 5, 2003 in Duluth, Minnesota.
