Reva Schye, age 85, of Miles City passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care after a lengthy illness.
Reva was born on September 29, 1922, one of six children born to Norman and Bertha Rost. She graduated from high school at Ollie, Montana. On November 20, 1945, she married Garry Schye of Ismay, Montana. She worked as a teller for several years at the 1st National Bank in Miles City, until she and Garry moved to Hardin, Montana to operate the Allis Chalmers dealership. Upon retiring they returned to Miles City.
Reva will always be remembered for her beautiful yards and the colorful flowers she grew and the strength she exhibited in difficult situations.
Reva was preceded in death by her husband Garry and son Craig, her parents, a sister Irene Smeltzer, brothers Tubby and Mervin Rost. She will be remembered by her son Garry Carter Schye of Miles City, MT; sisters Rose Norman of Livingston, Alice Bandy (Vern) of Bozeman and a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins. A very special person to Reva and her family has been Dennis Mullen, who has taken responsibility for her care during her illness.
Memorials may be given to the Range Riders Museum of the Disabled Veterans.
