Richard Rick Cameron Pedder, age 60, of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in Miles City.

Rick was born in Helena, Montana on September 7, 1950. As an infant he was adopted by Colin & Mardell Pedder of Bighorn, Montana, where he was raised on the family ranch. Rick attended grade school in Custer and Hysham, graduating from Hysham High School in 1969. While in school he was active in sports and 4-H.

Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. His roots in agriculture were always a part of his life whether he was working on a ranch, in a feedlot or driving truck hauling cattle or grain.

Ricks parents preceded him in death.

He is survived his sister, Colette (Lloyd) Butcher, his nieces Jody (Jase) Kinsey and Alexandria Butcher and his great-nephew Jax Kinsey all of Miles City, MT. Rick also leaves behind his aunts Deloras Erickson of Billings, Linda Gorman of Bozeman, uncle William Devener of Whitehall and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin Monday, December 20, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery.
