In Memory Of

Richard Raymond

A Celebration of Life: Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth with full military honors.

Richard Patrick Pat Raymond (62), of Forsyth, MT passed away September 28, 2009 after a long battle and recent complications from Crohns.

Pat was born in Miles City, MT on August 15, 1947. He was one of 7 children to Warner and Beatrice Raymond. Pat attended Dawson County High School before joining the Navy in 1967. He served 4 years with the Navy before he was honorably discharged on medical orders from Crohns. He married Carole Spears on August 12, 1972, and together enjoyed 37 years of happy marriage, raising 2 children together. He spent 29 years working as an EMT for the Rosebud County Ambulance and retired from Heberle Ford last summer.He had a deep passion for life and loved food, cooking and trying new things. Hobbies throughout his life were his many corvettes and the constant tinkering that goes along with sports car ownership; hunting and shooting, especially out on the ranch; and he loved to travel, spending much of his time the last several years of his life traveling with his loved one's.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents Beatrice and Warner Raymond, his sister Janice Parks and nephew Chad Raymond.

He is survived by wife Carole Raymond and their two sons Bryan Raymond of Billings, MT and Keith Raymond (Dee) of Rapid City, SD and 3 grandchildren (Vance, Skylar and Aspen) and several brothers; Roger Raymond (Farmers Ranch, TX), Ron Raymond (Lou) of Great Falls, MT, Curt Raymond (June) of Great Falls, MT and Bruce Raymond (Andeen) of Glendive, MT and his sister Mary Morgan (Duane) of Gillette, WY and their families.

He is remembered and greatly missed by many people.
