Ricky Lee Moats was born April 10th of 1956 in Alexandria, Minnesota. His parents were the late David Moats and Patricia Noyes Moats.
Ricky was a longtime resident of the Gordon Group Home and an employee of Eastern Montana Industries. Ricky was loved and cared for by so many caregivers at both the home and the industry, which we are really thankful for. Ricky was also the biggest Batman fan ever. He had every toy he could get his hands on. Ricky’s biggest thrill was riding in the Bat Mobile all around Miles City.
August 5th of 2020 Ricky passed away at his home in Miles City. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Ricky is survived by his twin brother Randy (Alisa) Moats of Great Falls Montana. His twin sisters Penny Spear of Wadena, Minnesota and Peggy Trotman of Red Lodge, Montana. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

I’m glad I got to make your dream come true Ricky by giving you the thrill of your life in my Batmobile.
I’ll never forget that day and how happy you were when we were cruising around Miles City in the most famous car in the world, the 1966 Batmobile.
I’ll see you on the other side when I get there Ricky and we’ll go on another cruise, this time you can drive.
Your Pal,
Batman

My brother Ricky was all about happiness, fun, and Love. When he was happy and having fun, every one could tell by the look on his face and how he would clap his hands together. He had nothing but love for everyone and would not let you go from his embrace. I am so thankful we were able to all get together one last time and I know he was to. I Love you brother and we will all be together in heaven one day.

I remember from a young age going to my dad’s office at EMI and Ricky always coming over to visit, with the biggest smile on his face. He was always so happy to tease my dad and draw pictures for him, which I have seen hung up his office for as long as I can remember. Just being near him brought joy to everyone’s heart and it was impossible to not grin in his company. His passing left a large hole in the community, and I know he will always be missed. Hope you get to the Batcave in the afterlife.
