What a great honor it was to know and care for this wonderful man. He was a true hero and had many stories to tell about his life and service for this country. He also had the best sense of humor and kept a smile on everyones face even when things were crazy. Farewell my friend you will be missed.

What a loss to this community. Bob was an amazing man who was a dedicated veteran to his country, soft hearted, kind, giving of his time and loved his fellow veterans. I will miss our visits my old friend. R.I.P. Bob, you will be missed by many here at the VA.

Oh Bob even though you insisted on the lights getting turned off, you sure lit up a lot of people’s lives! We miss you most at meals, with your bunny food and your advice on salt intake (giggles ) . “Hey Crowe, what do ya know?” “Not much” “Me neither” “That makes us like two peas in at pod then.” ” Yes it does Bob, yes it does!” I will miss you immensely my friend! ! Rest in peace buddy?

Rest in peace Bob. What a wonderful volunteer at the VA for so many years and such a great example of a dedicated veteran. I’m honored to have been able to get to know Bob during our years at the VA. Hugs to all Bob’s family. He was so very proud of all of you.

Robert better known to us as pap was my half sister’s grandfather. Even though he was not a blood grandpa to me you would never know. He treated us with such kindness. There was always rides on the back of his Harley, hamburgers and ice cream at the drive in, and nice letters in the mail on our birthdays. Rest easy pap, we will miss you!

Rest in peace, Bob……if we all lived by Bob’s example, what a good world it would be……..
