Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Orvil Holden of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. The family requests that everyone dresses casual.
Robert died November 5, 2004 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming of complications of a brief illness.
Robert A. Blackrose, also known as RAB was born November 20, 1952, the son of Richard and Carmen (Pacot) Reeder in Gillette, Wyoming. Robert worked for attorneys as a paralegal and worked on the oil well drilling rigs. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict.
Robert had a big heart and loved helping those who were less fortunate and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Robert is survived by his father, Richard Reeder of Gillette, Wyoming; his wife, Shirley Blackrose of Gillette, Wyoming; his step-daughters: Becky Mae Hewitt and Anna Hewitt of Gillette, Wyoming; his sister, Georgia L. Montoya of Gillette, Wyoming; and many grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1989; his brother, David Lee Reeder in 1974 and his grandparents.
