Robert Allen Reinhardt, age 67, Miles City passed away on Friday, February 23, 2007 at the VA Nursing Home in Miles City.
Robert was born on January 28, 1940 in Hardin, Montana, the son of Albert and Lydia (Bertrom) Reinhardt. He grew up and attended school in Kinsey, Montana. Following his schooling, he joined the Army at the age of 17, serving from 1957-1961. He then went to work at Safeway Grocery in Glendive, Montana as a butcher. In 1968, Bob went on to work for MDU, and retired from there after 20 years. Following his retirement, Bob moved to Miles City, Montana where he enjoyed his retirement.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting, and playing with his two favorite birds, Oscar and Baby Bird.
Robert is survived by his daughter Theresa (Michael) Steppe; a son, Kevin (Kristin) Reinhardt; grandchildren: DmitriJoslin Urban and Kaleb Reinhardt; a sister, Betty (Gene) Cutting; nephews: Cory Cutting, Mitch and Mike Reinhardt; and his two birds, Oscar and Baby Bird Reinhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Reinhardt and Lydia (Bertram) Reinhardt, and a brother, Bill Reinhardt.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Condolences may be made to the family by visitingwww.stevensonandsons.com.
