Funeral Services: Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth, MT.
Interment: Forsyth Cemetery.
Bob was born November 26, 1954 in Helena, Montana son of Evelyn and Otto Bendewald of Forsyth Mt. and died October 15, 2010 at Rosebud Health Care Center in Forsyth MT
Bob lived his entire life in Forsyth and attended local schools. He was baptized and confirmed in the Concordia Lutheran Church. Most of his life was spent working in the family businesses. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his friends fishing. Bob was very involved in target shooting, spending many hours at the local shooting range firing and experimenting with his own hand loaded ammunition and was a life time member of the National Rifle Association. Bob loved holidays with his family and often gave extravagant gifts just to see the big smiles. In the last few years Bobs greatest joys were his nieces, nephews and grandniece Avery.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn. Bob is survived by his father Otto of Forsyth, His brother Jeff Bendewald (Jean) and nephew Cameron (Jackie) of Monroe, Washington, niece Amanda Fallou (Daniel) of Sultan, Washington his sister Elaine Thelen (Sam), nephews and nieces Josh, Jason, Shauna (Reese), Alicia and grandniece Avery of Billings.
Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or The Rosebud Foundation.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family to receive friends from 5:00 to7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth, MT. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Forsyth Cemetery. Following the graveside service a luncheon will follow at Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth, MT.
