John Morford says
One of my fondest memories of Bob goes back many, many years. I ran a 5 card stud game in the Trails Inn during the Bucking Horse Sale one year. When we were making the deal on how to split the profits, I asked him when he would be available so we could count the money together every night after the game. He asked me if I was planning on taking more than my share and I said “No, Sir”. Then he said, “Well, there isn’t any reason for me to have to count it with you then, is there?”. And he didn’t. I counted it everynight and brought him his share every morning. I was running 3 different poker games in 3 different bars that year. He was the only one that didn’t need to be there for the count. I have never forgot that. Rest easy, Bob.. and thank you for your service to our country…
Marilyn Makelky Bradshaw says

I came into this website again to refill my memory of what John Morford had written in tribute to Bob’s spectacular trust and honesty. I ran a couple of poker games for Bob as well over the years. Everything was PERFECT as it always MUST be when you cut money with your partners.
I told Mitzi and Mel after Bob passed away that I had two (2) or three (3) years before told Bob I was writing a historical fiction novel as a tribute to him for his having been my wonderful friend for so many years.
“Robert The Bad”. Robert Bruce Bradley is a Scottish privateer during the wars for Scottish independence all tied into William Wallace and Mel Gibson’s spectacular “Braveheart”.
