Robert “Bobbie” Brien III “Skunkie” was born to Robert Brien Jr. and Ella Walkslast TallBull on October 23, 1952. He passed away on August 12, 2024, as the result of a car accident.
In his younger childhood they made their home in Camp Pendelton, California. They returned back to Montana where he attended school in Lodge Grass, Hardin, St. Labre. He was a cop for Northern Cheyenne PD, worked for the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Housing Authority, worked Construction where he helped build the hospital in Crow Agency which he talked about a lot.
When he was younger, he and his friends were named the Bruno Boyz which included Bobbie, Ronnie, Phillip, Tom MedicineElk., Bruce MedicineElk, Tommy CrazyMule, Bruce Horn, Mike Horn, & Frankie BigHead.
Bobbie is survived by his children Robert Shane Brien, Phylliss (Dyron) Shoulderblade, Bruce Skyles Firecrow, Josh Walkslast, Adopted daughter Melissa (Eldon) Brown; Grandchildren Robert Storm Brien V, Tiri LaTisha, Harlee Gene Brien, Slade Brien, Johnathan Wolf, Lilliana Firecrow, Currie Sky & I’Lee Reign Shoulderblade, Damian & Allen Brien. Bobbie’s siblings include Harold Brien, Vernon Brien, Larry Dean Brien, Wayne Howe, Matthew Emigh, Curtis Brien, Kenneth Brien; sisters Valerie Brien, Bobalene Brien, Barbara Stewart, Lucille Brien, Martha Larimer, Becky TallBull.
Preceding him in death were his childrend LaTisha Joy Brien, Jon Mikel Firecrow, Dustin Michael Brien, parents Robert Brien Jr. & Ella Walkslast TallBull; grandparents Robert Brien Sr. & Lucille Cummins, Frank Walkslast & Eva Julia Spotted Wolf; brothers Ronald & Phillip Brien, Charles TallBull Jr.; sister Roberta Brien, Charlotte TallBull, Zipporah TallBull; DeeDee Brien; grandchild Richard Walker Angel’Brien; niece Leslie Nicole Brien.
He leaves behind many family & friends that are too numerous to mention.
