Bob was one of the best men I have even known. The kindest of kind gentleman. I will always cherish the times at his table eating breakfast, drinking coffee and visiting about trapping and calling. Heaven has gained an amazing new angle that fought for his country and was a proud American and soldier. Rest in peace my friend.

Diane and each member of Bob’s family: We were saddened to learn of your dad’s passing. His birthday celebrations were an event to behold – we shall miss those times! Bob had such GREAT stories…. we will ALWAYS remember the one about his watch he received during his service in World War II – loosing it – and then, how it was found!! Rest in peace Bob…. now you are reunited with Elsie!

I’m going to miss him so much. Bob was like a grandfather to me, he always welcomed me into his home and loved to tell me stories. I loved talking with him and getting to sit and watch tv with him after school. He always had an amazing garden and I always loved helping him water the vegetables. He was an amazing neighbor and close friend, I’m going to miss him a lot. I’m sorry for your loss.
