Robert Bob Allan Goff, age 53, of Billings, MT formerly of Miles City passed away on November 28, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Heath Care Center in Miles City.
Bob was born on April 2, 1954 to Ernest and Dorothy Goff in Ada, Minnesota. He was baptized at the Green Meadow Trinity Lutheran Church in Ada, Minnesota. Bob came to Montana in 1961 with his parents and attended schools graduating from Custer High School. He later moved to Florida and helped build a successful advertising business called Sun Advertising. In 2000, Bob moved back to Miles City, after his fathers death to help care for his mother.
Before his death, he was employed by Montana Trooper Magazine in Billings, MT. He was also the sales manager for Sun Manufacturing and was on the board of directors for the Gold Coast Advertising Association. He became vice president and then president of the association. Bob made many friends throughout his lifetime in the advertising business and was highly respected. His name was very well known by everyone in the business.
Bob was given many gifts, but one of his special gifts was to make people laugh. He was always quick with a joke, never minced words and was always to the point, much like his father Ernie.
Bob is survived by two sisters: Judy (Melvin Shorty) Brush of Miles City and Carol (Ken) Niemi of Miles City, two brothers; Floyd (Mary) of Missouri and Jerry Goff of Miles City and a very close and special person Rick Minner of Billings, MT.
Bob was preceded in death by His brother Jimmy and Don and Father Ernest and mother Dorothy preceded him in death.
