Surviving are his wife, Kathryn and eight sons and their families: Deane of Aiea, Hawaii and his children Joel and Jason; Dione of Great Falls and his children: Lurene, Lauren and Brandi; Duane of Miles City and his children: Natasha, Dustin, Derek, Savanah, and Dan; Denis (Rhonda) of Miles City and their children: Kylee, Koby and Kyrtlie; Darvin of Miles City; Daniel of Miles City and his son Shawn; Douglas of Miles City; Daren (Dawn) of Miles City and their children: Logan, Garrett, Charli and Chappy; his three brothers: Eugene (Jean) Leidholt of Miles City, Philip (Beverly) of Miles City and James (Jessie) Leidholt of Miles City and two sisters: Violet (John) Howe of Miles City and Alma Hartman of Kalispell and nine great grandchildren. So sorry to hear of Roberts passing–you all will be in my thoughts and prayers
George & Peggy Kurkowski says
Peg and I offer our condolences to the family. Bob certainly leaves a legacy as being the best water plant Superintendent Miles City ever had. During my tenure as Mayor, I could not have asked for a more dedicated, honest and faithful employee. The City never had any reason for concern when Bob was in charge. Under his supervison the groundwork for the modern water plant was laid. He always made certain that things operated correctly. He will be sorely missed.
Samantha Leidholt says
My prayers are with the entire Leidholt family as they lost an incredible man.
Denise Harvey says

Jim Brady says
I am truly sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. My condolences to his family in this great loss. I had the opportunity to know Bob, not only as the parent of my classmates, but to work with him on the City crew. Bob taught us a great deal including how to do the job once and do the job right. He was a Master of many crafts and made perfection the only goal. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Robert J. Leidholt – I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in many beautiful memories of Mr. Leidholt at this difficult time. The Bible gives us hope that soon the Creator will end all suffering, pain, and death. (Revelation 21:4) Also we have the hope of being with our loved ones when they are resurrected (John 5:28-29). The promise of Paradise, the perfect conditions God originally intended for mankind in the Garden of Eden will be fulfilled including God’s “will being done as in Heaven also up on Earth” (Matt 6:9, 10). Please take the opportunity to continue to learn about the many comforting promises in the Bible. (John 17:3).

We’ve been thinking of you both during the last week (and all of your family) as you’ve gathered together to celebrate your dad’s life and yet mourn his passing. Dan~you have certainly inherited and emulated your dad’s amazing work ethic and I am sure that is something you’ve passed along to Shawn. He was such a great example of what’s important in life!
