Maheo called Robert “Bob” Cook Jr. home on November 23, 2019. Bob was born in Los Angeles, California to Nancy Yellowrobe and Robert Cook Sr.
Bob was very proud to be a Northern Cheyenne and always proud of his heritage. Bob was a jack of all trades, but he most loved working with the BIA wildlands firefighting camp crews. He loved his LA Lakers, LA Dodgers, and was an avid sports fan but also loved his old time Rock & Roll. He liked to travel.
Bob is survived by his mother, Nancy Yellowrobe, sisters June (Floyd) Limberhand, Doris BadBrave, brother Matthew, Faron (Doreen), Elmore (Tina), Lori (Ike), Tim (Malinda). His daughter Kendra (Alvin Biglefthand) Cook, his grandchildren Alvin Jr., Madison, Caitlin, Edwin, Evan, Tylin. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Roxanne Woundedye (her son Cole Count Two Moons), Kenan Robert Jeffereson Jr., Heavenly Ros, Ziony (Noah), Starr Jefferson, Marylou Jeffereson, Sage Clubfood, Danny Roughe Clubfoot, Sharay Starving Bear, Landon Jr., Rachel, Rebekah, Charity, Joshua, Isaiah, Blaine, Savannah, Cheyenne, Jennifer, Leona, Peter III, April, Faron, Jr., Ryan, Flora, Celesta, Kyle, Naomi, Byron, Nicole, Elisha, Susan, David, and Leland. Also his cousins Moses Yellowrobe Jr., Luther Yellowrobe, Jarvis Yellowrobe, Matilda, Jeanie, Ida Mae, Gladys, Donelda, and Maynard, Martha and Isaac LittleWhirlWind. He is also survived by his close friend Jolene “Bullet” Threefingers and David Little Whiteman.
He is preceded in death by Jasper, Leroy, Douglas, Robert (Tim), Bonnie, Cynthia, Daniel, and Ginger.
