Funeral Services: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Assembly of God Church in Broadus.
Interment: will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.
Robert Lynn Weimer, age 74, of Broadus passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Billings Clinic in Billings.
Lynn was born on April 19, 1936 in Treaty, IN the son of Robert and Francis (Howard) Weimer. Lynn attended school in Summerset, IN and worked numerous jobs in the Indiana area. At the early age of 17 he met and married Phyllis Lhamon. He worked for General Motors for twenty years, before the family moved to Kallispell, MT where he was able to build rifle barrels and run his own business Weimer Muzzle Loader Barrels. He also worked for Plum Creek Lumber for nineteen years. Phyllis passed away in 1990 and later he married Esther Wiederrich in 1997 in Kallispell, MT. After retiring they moved to the ranch to be near his daughter for three years and then in to Broadus where they resided since.
Lynn enjoyed muzzle loading, attending many Mountain Man rendezvous, as well as building things from shelves to making sure things were properly maintained around his home, most of all he loved being able to spend time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Assembly Of God Church in Broadus, MT.
Lynn is survived by his wife Esther of Broadus, MT, his father Robert; his sons, Rex (Karen) Weimer of Lofantaine, IN, Rick (Vickie) Weimer of Kallispell, MT, Ron Weimer of Salt Lake City, UT and step-son Cliff (Rachel) Herbert of Columbia Falls, MT; one step-daughter, LaDonna (Roger) Donsback of Volborg, MT; five brothers, Jim, Mike, Eddie, Steve and Tom Weimer and thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis; his mother Francis, one step-son Clinton Edward and one brother Phill Weimer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus, MT. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Assembly of God Church in Broadus. Interment will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.
