He had three sisters Mary, Verna, and Olive; two brothers Raymond and Leon. He attended Oliver Country School in Wibaux County, then attended Junior High and High School in Wibaux. After military service, he was back in Wibaux working for the First National Bank. In the 1950’s and 60’s, Bob and Pat owned and operated the Tastee Freez ice cream shop in Wibaux and the A&W drive-in in White Sulphur Springs, MT. Bob became an investment/insurance representative, therefore, relocating to Bozeman, MT. No matter where Bob lived, he always was hired as a bookkeeper by small business owners. Bob had a passion for his Lord, his family and all people. He embraced fellowship with his church brothers and sisters no matter where he lived.

My condolences to bobs family, he will be missed. Bob was such a kind soul, and always dressed to the nine no matter the day. It was a pleasure taking care of him when I was a CNA. Sad to see him go, but I have comfort knowing he’s in a better place along side his family.

Heaven is rejoicing that Bob is now among the saints in the presence of his Savior. Wonderful are the memories I have of Bob and Pat. We met at our church youth camp in Red Lodge where Pat and I were counselor/cooks many years ago and later spent cherished time with them at their home in Bozeman. Psalm 116:15 reminds us, “Preious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Praise God, Bob is now home!
Bob and Jean Snyder says
Bob was an amazing man which showed through his kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness and love of his Lord. He will be sorely missed. Death does not have the final victory, we do through Christ. We rejoice with you that Bob believed this too.
