Robert Weasel Bear Jr (Bobby) made his journey to the next Cheyenne Campground September 13, 2023. Robert was born July 11, 1957 in Crow Agency to Irma Jean Tall Bull and Robert Weasel Bear Sr. He was the eldest of 7 siblings, Calvin Whitewolf, Lucky Gene Homewood, Wallace Bearchum Jr, Delphina Homewood, Medora Burgess, Anita Bearchum, Cheryl Bearchum, Bobby was raised in Ashland (Rabbit Town) by his grandparents Sam Weasel Bear and Martha Wolf Name(Weasel Bear) alongside sisters Iola Wooden Thigh, Juanita Weasel Bear and Germaine Haugen. He attended school at St. Labre and Northern Cheyenne Tribal Schools. It was in Busby he met the love of his life Alice Faye Little Sun. Together they made their home in Busby Montana and had two children Janae Marie Little Sun and Merlin Wade Little Sun. Bobby worked many jobs on the reservation that included tribal forestry, tribal housing authority, NCTS cook, Elderly Complex cook, Utilities and many others. Weasel was a proud community member of Busby and enjoyed cheering on the Northern Cheyenne Tribal School Eagles in sports. As well as going to bingo and playing machines at the Charging Horse Casino. He also played basketball and as he got older he played softball. Visiting with friends and calling his mother every day to check on her was also a part of his routine. Robert and Alice also helped raised their grandkids, always having Janesha and Baby Wade and Jazzy Faye with them. He had 12 grandchildren. Robert was tough and often stubborn but he loved his family and friends, he will be missed by all dearly!
Weasel is survived by his two kids Janae (Bob) and Merlin Wade Little Sun. Grandkids Janesha, Jazzy, Robert, Raida, Razeira, Raziah, Merasia, Baby Merlin Wade, Meraya, Meya, Marlena, and Marcel. Mother Irma Jean Bearchum, Sisters Medora Burgess Of Sidney MT, Anita Bearchum, Cheryl Bearchum, Iola Woodenthigh ,Germaine Haugen, and Juanita Weasel Bear. Brothers Wallace Bearchum Calvin White Wolf, Lucky Gene Homewood, Nephews Dieter, Josh, Tyrell, Dakota, Christopher, Troy, Myron, Lucky Jr, Wesley, Preston, Cleveland, Cheyenne White, Olaf, Aaron and Levi, Tedi. Nieces Shaylene, Crystal, Cheyenne, Kristen, Kate, Sharon, Melinda, Bobbi Jo, Alysha, Sabrina, Tonja, Bianca, Lanita and April Haugen.
He is proceeded in death by his father Robert Weasel Bear Sr, grandparents Sam Weasel Bear & Martha Wolf Name. Love of his life Alice Faye Little Sun, Two Sons – Baby Little Sun. Grandson Marko Little Sun. Sister Delphina Homewood. Nephew Stephan Kills Night. Sister Anna Weasel Bear.

DAMN GOD GAINED ANOTHER ANGEL… MY prayers go out to the family sorry for the loss … but like my dad always told me 1 dies a new life is born ..lost my pappa almost 4 yrs.
