Roger Patrick St. Germaine Sr., of Wolf Point, MT passed away at the age of 57 on April 16, 2011. He was born December 20, 1953 in Glendive, Montana to Arthur R. and Donna M. (Beauchamp) St. Germaine Sr.

Roger grew up in Glasgow, MT until he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1971. Completing his service in 1973, he later returned to Glasgow, MT where he met and married his first wife Lila R. Doney, from this union they had seven children. In 1975, Roger moved his family to Lawrence, KS where he attended Haskell Community College for masonry. Upon completion of his Associates degree, Roger moved his family back to Montana to pursue his masonry apprenticeship in Glendive. Partnering with his father, Roger traveled to various construction sites throughout the region for Aune Masonry. In 1986, Roger moved his family to Wolf Point where he resided until his death. In 1990 he married Kathryn Shields and had one child from this 20 year union.Roger was a hard-working man who was respected by many. He was currently employed at the water treatment plant outside Wolf Point with RSCI as a plumber's helper. He was very creative and skilled in his chosen profession. His brick work was well known, from building major structures to small personal projects, as exhibited by the pride and care he took in the finished product. He instilled this work ethic in his children as he always remarked to them, "Actions speak louder than words. When you begin something, see it out to the finish and do it right." Honing his craft and teaching it to his boys, he later started his own company St. Germaine Masonry. An avid outdoorsman and excellent marksman, Roger frequently went hunting in his favorite hunting grounds in Valley County. A generous person, Roger happily gave his extra game to those in need. Roger enjoyed many sports ie: bowling, fishing, playing pool & horseshoes, camping and loved to sit with his friends and relatives with a good hand of whist or cribbage.
