Roger Bruce Weaver, age 77 of Jordan, Montana entered into eternal rest February 1, 2022 at his home in Blanchard, Idaho.
Roger was born in Jordan, Montana on April 27, 1944, the son of Victor Weaver and Marguerite (Mury) Weaver. His parents homesteaded at the Blackfoot community near Brusett where Roger grew up. His dad had him on a tractor at the age of 4. Went to the Blackfoot School in Brusett, Montana from 1950-1958. He then attended Garfield County High School in Jordan, Montana from 1959 – 1962. Roger then went to Northern Montana College in Havre, Montana from 1963 – 1969. He taught school in Heart Butte, Montana then moved to Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and taught there and sold real estate until 1994.
Roger met Ann and they were married on August 6, 1994 in Hayden, Idaho. He took his bride and moved back to Montana so he could start ranching again. They had a ranch in Baker, Montana and just the two of them worked it together. In the year of 2012, it was time to sell the ranch. At that time, they moved to Bayview for 5 years again things didn’t work out so they moved to Charlo, Montana on a little ranch taking care of an orchard. That was working great till Roger’s health issues came on and was just too much to take care of. It was time to downsize, so they moved to Blanchard, Idaho in February 2021.
Roger is survived by his wife Ann of Blanchard; a son Shaun of Haden, ID; a daughter Nicole of Raleigh, ND; step daughter Shannon of Post Falls, ID; brother Calvin (Edith) of Roundup, MT; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on April 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the V.F.W. Hall in Jordan, MT with a reception to follow. After the reception, interment will take place at the Hearts of Peace Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com. In leu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Ann Weaver, 664 Stoneridge Rd., Blanchard, ID 83804. All funds will be donated to Emma and Darrell Higgins for a handicapped van for transportation.

Ann, we have so cherished your and Roger’s friendship. Glad for the memories we now hold in our hearts. Roger is probably feeling the touch of the Master’s hand and looking for every opportunity to worship his Savior. We can only imagine the spark in his eye, the grin on his face & his familiar chuckle as he views his new heavenly home. Hugs and embraces–with all of our love, Alvin, Sharon, Ryan & Kevin Wenz

I will always remember Roger’s infectious laugh and the twinkle that was always in his eye, even when he was teaching a young Chan Childers how to run haying equipment, especially after Chan baled up his tarp with all of his tools on it! He has always had a special place in my heart and I am sorry that we didn’t see both of you very much in the last few years. Ann, always know that you have a place in all our hearts and we miss you too. Keep your faith and know that one day you will see Roger in the great ranching mecca in the sky where he will have everything running smoothly.
