In Memory Of

Romeo T Bearchum age 21 of Lame Deer, MT

November 1, 1993 – November 22, 2014

Romeo Ted, Heme’kone Ohvehonevestse “HeadChief”, Bearchum Rowland, 21 years of age, was born on November 1, 1993 to his mother Monica Rowland and step-dad Charles Killsnight and left us to be with the Lord on November 22, 2014.

Romeo loved to hunt, lift weights, work out, play basketball with his friends in Takini, South Dakota, and spend time with his siblings, mom, step-dad, Grandpa Ted, and his own family whom he loved with all of his heart, LaRayne Littlebird, Vayah Rowland, and his baby who will join us on December 4th. He took his cousins Darius Willard and Benjamin Amarock as his brothers. Romeo loved spending time with his brothers and sisters Noveko, Christian, Heaven, and Leraius. Romeo loved his friends and taking them hunting. He took his last hunting trip on November 22nd and fell asleep at the wheel coming home. He was so close to home, only a half mile away from the house. Romeo enjoyed visiting with his hero, his Grandpa Ted. He expressed how he learned to be a humble person, hard worker, and an awesome dad from Ted Rowland and Charles Killsnight.

Romeo is with his Grandma Lerena now. He adored and loved her so dearly. She took him home before the wreck to be with her and to be with the Lord in Heaven. Romeo joined his family in Heaven and is rejoicing with his Grandma Lerena Rowland.

Romeo, you will be missed. You took a piece of our hearts with you as you journey with Grandma Lerena to Heaven.

Oh Romeo, why did this have to happen you were so young. All I keep asking God is, why? I know you will be living in your baby girls. I see you every time I look into Vayah’s face. Please Romeo give my sister and your lil family, and your big family the strength to move on from this tragedy. You were and always will be apart of our family. I always claimed you to be my brother in law. I just can’t wrap my head around this. You will be, and are greatly missed by everyone! We love you! Please watch over your family. They need you to send strength and comfort anytime you can. Romeo. 🙁

This is very difficult, so many memories running through my mind. I will always remember that big smile you always had. Thank you Romeo for being such a loving, caring, and hard working young man. It was always so heart warming to see you holding baby Vayah walking by my daughter LaRayne’s side, the perfect little family. You touched so many lives and are greatly missed! You will always and forever be a part of our family. Sure am goin to miss seeing you walk in the door packing baby. But we will make sure they know who their father was and how much you loved them. I will make sure of that! Happy hunting on the other side, safe journey Romeo. Keep a good watch over the girls’ they love and miss you dearly as well as your family..my prayers are with you all!!!! RIP ROMEO….

My sincere condolences to the family of Romeo T Bearchum – Please accept my deepest sympathy. We hurt when someone we love so much dies. Jesus felt the pain when his friend Lazarus died, and he promised that everyone exercising faith in him will live again. We have the hope of the resurrection (John 5:28, 29). I hope that you are comforted by the many wonderful Bible promises (John 17:3).

We were so sorry to read about the loss of this young man. It is natural to have questions as to why we lose those we love. You can have faith that God has a plan for us to see our loved ones again on a paradise earth. The Bible promises that God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Rev. 21:4) May “the God of all comfort” (2 Cor. 1:3) be with you at this time.
