Ron was a tremendous New York Life agent and an even better person. He served the Miles City community with integrity, care, and professionalism, and he truly embodied what it means to put clients and families first.
Ron was a valued member of the New York Life Montana family, and his impact will be felt for many years through the people he helped, mentored, and cared for. He will be deeply missed by colleagues, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ron’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. The Montana New York Life family will always remember him with gratitude and respect.

Hathaway family, so sorry to see this, Ron & Ginny have been like a second family to me, good friends, and the loss of a friend is like that of a limb, time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired. Know that I cherish all the time with your family means the world to me. Know that I have been lucky to have something that makes saying goodbye so difficult.
Truman O'Brien says
Ron and I were roommates at Eastern Montana College in 1965. He always blamed me for his flunking out. He may have been right….
Rest in peace roomie! You were a good man.
Shelly Gams says
I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. When I was a young agent with New York Life, Ron was incredibly kind to me—always generous with advice and little nuggets of wisdom. We attended council meetinga together, and he kindly dragged me all over Seattle, including a Seattle Mariners game. He was truly a kind man, and I will always remember him fondly.
