The family headed to Cedar Rapids, IA in 1969 as he was employed at a nuclear power plant. In Oct. 1973 the mining path took the family to Forsyth, MT where he worked construction at the Colstrip MT power plants as a boilermaker. In 1976-May 1977 Red, Martha and Cindy lived in Upton, Wy. Ronald retired from Boilermakers Local #83 and Local #11 settled back in Forsyth, MT.
Throughout his life Ronald enjoyed fishing, bird watching, hunting and dousing. He enjoyed traveling and reading, and watching the grandchildren play sports. He was a free thinker and wasn’t afraid of challenging others for his political rights.
