Ronnie Joe Griffith, age 54, of Las Vegas, Nevada formerly of Miles City passed away on Friday, July, 11, 2008 in Las Vegas.
Ronnie was born in Miles City, Montana on November 21, 1953, the son of Harry Samuel and Myra D. (Butts) Griffith. He attended grade school in Miles City and graduated from Custer County High School in 1972. Following graduation, he attended Miles Community College and later enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Gisen, Germany for four years. He married Karen Roberts in 1976 in Germany and returned home to Miles City moving to Bozeman, Pocatello, Idaho and then to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ronnie is survived by his father, Harry Griffith of Miles City, MT; his mother, Myra Griffith of Miles City, MT; two daughters: Elizabeth Griffith of Miles City, MT; and Erica Griffith of Miles City, MT; a brother, Dr. Harry Griffith III of Shelton, WA; and a sister, Ruth Moreland of Carson City, NV.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Miles City with full military honors provided by VFW Post #1579. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
