In Memory Of

Rosalie Rahn

Visitation: Friday, August 11, 2006 2 to 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point

Interment: will follow at Greenwood Cemetery

Rosalie Rahn, age 78 of Dayton TN passed away August 8, 2006 in Dayton TN.

Rosalie Rahn was born June 7, 1928 to William & Justine Nickel on their farm in the Volt community north of Wolf Point. She received here education at the Volt country school and in Wolf Point. After schooling Rosalie worked in Wolf Point at Nelsons Cafe and Dasingers Cleaners. It was during this time she met Henry Rahn. On Apr8l 16, 1950 she received her engagement ring and on June 22, 1950 they were married. They moved on to their New Farm North of Frazer. With in a few years 3 children were added to the family; Linda Mae, Raymond Henry and Marlene Fay.

Henry and Rosalie continued their life together on the family farm for 40 years until Henry passed away in 1990. After this, Rosalie spent the winter months with her daughter Marlene Fouts & family in Dayton TN, and the summer months on the farm in Montana. Rosalie loved to cook, bake and entertain family and friends. She also loved to garden and raise flowers. She loved her family and grandchildren very much.

Rosalie is survived by 2 daughters; Linda Siewing & family of Havre Mt., Marlene Fouts & family of Dayton TN, one son; Raymond Rahn & family of Frazer, Mt., 4 grandchildren; Heidi and Jason Fouts, Joshua Siewing, and Rebecca Rahn, 3 sisters; Esther Olfert of Billings, MT, Ruth Maus of Minneapolis, MN., Louise Penner of San Diego, CA., and one brother; Willmer Nickel of Rapid City, SD., and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Henry Rahn and one brother Carl Nickel.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2006 from 2 to 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
