She was born in Tie Creek, MT in 1934 to Lawrence A. Webster and Laura Pierce Webster. Rosella attended grade school at the Tie Creek County School and attended Ekalaka High School for the ninth grade, and then attended Custer County High School in Miles City until her junior year, she then received her GED in Miles City in the 1960´s. During her life she worked several different jobs. In the 1960´s and 1970´s she worked at Miles City Steam Laundry. In the beginning of the 1980´s, Rosella worked at Della´s Dress Shop and later she at the Custer County Rest Home. During the 1990´s Rosella worked at the Ursaline Convent. Rosella also had her own business in her home as a seamstress, sewing anything from kids clothing to wedding dresses. She was an avid pool player, and known as Ramblin´ Rose by many. In 1951, Rosella married Eugene R. Tredway. After this union she married Keith Ehlers in 1966. She later joined Marion "Hooch" Hale in marriage on September 10th, 1978. In 1986 she married Don McDowell.
Rosella was a member in many different organizations, including the Moose Lodge, the Eagles and AA.
Rosella is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Laura Webster, a son, Monte E. Tredway, a brother Larry C. Webster, a sister Lorena A. Childers, one grandchild and 3 great grandchildren. Rosella is survived by her son Lawrence Dale Tredway of Miles City; a daughter Lorella "Lori" Reed of Miles City; sisters Mary (Clarence) Cridland of Miles City, and Lola M. "Chic" Reser of Worden, MT; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held November 21, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Celebration of Life will be held November 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Private burial services will be held later on. Grandma, its been a month and i still think of you everyday. Landon and i bought you an ornament that says ” my grandma is an angel”.
