Rosie Marie Seleg passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Billings Clinic, after an extended illness. Rosie was born, November 2, 1957, to Alex and Irene Seleg in Forsyth, Montana. She attended school in Rosebud, Montana graduating with the class of 1975.
Rosie was a hard-working individual, usually working more than one job at a time. In her early years, she worked alongside her mother as the janitorial staff for the Federated Church and First State Bank of Forsyth. Rosie then became a Certified Nursing Assistant at Rosebud Healthcare Center for more than twenty-five years. In her time there she touched the hearts of many of her residents and their families with her caring and compassionate nature.
Rosie was a wonderful aunt to all her nieces and nephews, spending as much time as she could with them. She loved doing crafts and working in her flower gardens. Especially, caring for her roses.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Irene Seleg. She is survived by her brother Allan (Diana) Seleg of Rosebud and Connie Mitich of Billings, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special friend and companion, her dog Mister.

Pastor Bob Unterseher says
I only knew Rosie for a little over three weeks. Her Sister, Connie, called and asked if I would go to the hospital and pray for her. I went immediately and met Rosie. “Rosie”, I said, “I am Pastor Bob and I’m going to pray for you.” She looked up at me and nodded her head in agreement as she said, “Thank you.” As I prayed, I felt an awareness of a Divine presence. I knew Jesus had heard our prayer and everything was going to be all right. And now three weeks later after many visits and many prayers, I assure you, Rosie is okay. She is in the presence of Jesus with no pain, no worries, no cancer, and a great future waiting for her family and many friends. If she had a special message for you today, it would be, “Just be there.”
