Ross Francis Teeth, Honehe wowa (Wolf Hair Man), age 63 of Seattle WA, formerly of Lame Deer, MT passed away early on the morning of Friday, July 24th, 2009 in Seattle, WA.
He was born January 4, 1945, the son of Frank and Marie Americanhorse Teeth in Lame Deer, MT. He grew up and attended school in Lame Deer.He married Philamean Whiteman and they lived in Dallas, TX for awhile and then parted after returning to Lame Deer. Ross was an old cowboy and an awesome ranch hand, doing much work at the Padlock Ranch and other ranches. Ross was an avid boxer and he belonged to a Boxing Team in 1965 1970, he traveled various places with his team and won several trophies. Ross was also a member of the Chief Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Marie; his brother Austin Teeth; his sisters, Iola Teeth and Celestine Teeth; his half brother George Harris Jr.; his nephews, Aaron Sampson and Lawson Waters Jr.Ross is survived by his sister Phyllis Teeth; his half brother Lafe Harris; his half sister Delpha Harris Waters; his newphews, Jerry Waters, Merlin J. Jone's and Neil Levi Jone's; his nieces, Georgia Harris, Edith Teeth and Joyclyn Gaskill both of Butte, MT, Pat Waters and Tana Waters both of Rapid City, SD. Ross is also related to the Seminoles, Tallwhiteman, Killsnight, Sioux, Little Bear, Wolfname, Baily, Biglefthand, Medicine Top, Sooktis, Texas, Flying, Spottedwolf, Fighting Bear, Knowshisguns, Limberhand and Teeth families. Ross had numerous family and friends, please forgive us if we forgot to mention anyone.
