Roy Fighting Bear Sr., age 73, of Billings, formerly of Birney, MT passed away on October 28, 2021, at Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings, MT.
Roy was born on December 8, 1947, to Herbert Fighting Bear and Margaret Standing Elk Fighting Bear.
Roy attended school at Birney Day School and graduated from Busby High School.
He worked his early life at the factory in Ashland, MT until his unfortunate accident. This took him from rehabilitation centers and nursing homes to his final stay at the Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings, MT.
Survivors include: brothers, Homer (Mary) Fighting Bear of Riverton, WY; sons, Roy Jr. & Rudly Fighting Bear both of Lame Deer, MT.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ronnie & Bobby Fighting Bear; sisters, Marie, Kay, Nathel & Serena Fighting Bear; relatives, Standing Elk, Redneck, Pine, Strange Owl, Belly Mule, Sandcrane, Little Oldman, Sooktis, Littlebirds, Oldman & Elk Shoulder’s.
