When I was in grade school at Locate, Roy’s sister was one of my closest friends. The Hobbs family were wonderful people, and I treasure that time. Roy was gentle, sweet and quiet–and he always had a smile on his face.

Roy, was our neighbor here in town. he kept his horses in a pasture next door. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by all that knew him.

Roy used to stop by to visit when Jobie was living on the north side of town. He was a delightful man with a terrific sense of humor. We consider ourselves blessed that we had the opportunity to know him.
