Ruby Mae Richter

Ruby Mae Richter, age 90, ofMiles City passed away on Monday, August 23, 2004 at Parkview Caring.

Ruby was born on June 16, 1914, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the daughter of George Fredrick andCyrilda Ann (Peterman) Adams. She attended schools in Bartlesville where she graduated from high school. She later married Ralph E. Richter. Following their marriage, they owned and operated their own restraint. Following Ralphs death, she converted the restraint into a health food center which she operated until the late 1970s. She remained in Oklahoma until 2000 when she moved to moved to Montana to live with her sister. Ruby loved to read and work in the church helping young people.

Ruby is survived by her daughter,Evelyn Lenore Richter of Hampden, ME; two sons: Ralph Richter Jr. of Costa Rica; andZandell Ray Richter of Florida; a brother, Donald D. Adams of California; three sisters: B.J. Garner of San Diego, CA; Vera Spire of Miles City, MT; and Neva Gail Noyes of Lay Jolla, CA; six grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph; and a son, Wannowew Richter.
