Ruby Mae Webb Potter, age 65, of Miles City passed away on May 29, 2009 at the St. Vincents Hospital in Billings with her family by her side.
Ruby was born on July 23, 1943 in Baltimore, MD the daughter Charles and Pansey (Showalter) Kidwell. She attended schools in Baltimore. Ruby went to work for Proctor and Gamble. She married Fred Webb in Wise, VA and they made their home in Shelby, KY until his passing in 1988. After meeting Ralph Potter in1989, Ralph and Ruby moved to Miles City where they have made their home since.
Ruby was a child care provider for DEAP off and on for the last 10 years. She loved horseback riding, playing softball, old time country music and walking and riding motorcycles with Ralph.
Ruby is survived by her husband Ralph W. Potter Jr., of Miles City, sons Archie Jean Webb of Miles City, David Potter of IL., three daughters Sharon Mercardo of Billings, MT, Emily Potter of Miles City and Melinda Potter of Mt. Vernon, IL., three brothers Charlie Kidwell of Virginia, Robert Kidwell of TN, and Ernist Kidwell of Montana, six sisters; Mary Kidwell of WI, Shirley Marsh of MD, Nancy Salem of WI, Lena Leach of WI, Rosetta Harris of VA and Louise Mauck of MD. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; Frank Jr. Sonja and Florindo, Tyler, David, Blade, Austin, Lauren and Daven, Adam, Bryan Austin and Athena.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery in Miles City.
