Rueben Cole Levi Littlebird was born on December 28, 2002 in Crow Agency, Mt. He was taken home early by the Creator, Great-grandfather Spirit on September 11, 2018. Heaven got brighter that day because it gained a true angel.
Rueben, or “ColeBin” as he was lovingly known by his close family and friends, was the heart and soul of his family. His big, warm smile would instantly brighten any room he walked into. He had a very kind and loving demeanor. He liked to spend time joking and lauging with his friends at school and family at home. He enjoyed playing his xbox and playstation more than anything and spending time with his dad at their home they recently moved into in May. He spent his earlier years in Rabbit town attending school at Ashland Public with his Sisters Lara and Leisha; He moved to Lame Deer in December 2012 with his father and began school at lame deer elementary and eventually moved out to the high school for his jr high years and was recently promoted in May and was very anxious to be a Freshmen this year. He enjoyed running cross country at LDHS with his bros and teammates. Colebin was a very respectful, courteous young man always willing to help anyone out. He always played with his little sister and niece, even when he didn’t want to. He shared a very close bond with his dad, Lance. Together they tackled several obstacles and were inseperable. Eventually getting their own apartment in Muddy Cluster in May. Cole was in pure heaven….his own room, tv, his gaming consoles and of course his munchies. He never complained about anything and always made the best of every situation. He was a beaming example of a well-mannered young man. He was taught to always be respectful and courteous by his dad, who doted on him. He was the heart and soul of his father. Wherever one was, the other was sure to be close by. He loved his siblings very much and shared a close bond with them as well. He also enjoyed the company of his little crew. His younger cousins who were always spending the night with him playing games and messing around all night, were very close to him. He often talked about his friends at school and how he wished he could spend more time with them. His smile was contagious and he was always quick to make others laugh. RuebenCole will be greatly and forever missed….. We love you.

Sending heartfelt condolences and prayers to the loving Family of Rueben Cole Littlebird. Losing a child has been described as one of the greatest losses. Though Rueben was only with you for 15 short years, may your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of the joyful times shared. May you also find strength in the comforting words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.
Shortly, God’s Kingdom will replace funeral homes with happy reunions and tears of sorrow will become tears of joy and neither sickness or death will be (Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 25:8).
May the love of family, friends and our Grand Creator strengthen you (Psalms 34:18).
