Ruth Ann Schenk

Visitation: Friday, March 13, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Family Receiving Friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth

Funeral Service: Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth

Burial: will follow in the Forsyth Cemetery

Ruth Ann Schenk, age 73, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at their Forsyth ranch home, following many health challenges.

Ruth Ann was born on February 22, 1936 at Ingomar, MT to Vern and Dorothy Kesterson of Sumatra, MT. Ruth Ann married Fred Schenk Jr. in the fall of 1957 at Billings, MT. Their marriage of 50 years was spent at Forsyth, MT where Ruth enjoyed family, ranch life and working with family for Schenk Trucking.

Ruth Ann is survived by her husband Fred Schenk Jr. and two sons and their families; David (Carolyn) Schenk; Jessica Schenk (granddaughter), Amanda (Christopher) Robey (granddaughter) of Colorado and (grandson) Steven (Lilly) Schenk Taven (great grandson) of Forsyth. Robert (Jamie) Schenk of Forsyth; RJ Schenk (grandson) Wendy and Carlie Jo (great granddaughter) of Jordon, MT, April Schenk (Adam) Johnson (granddaughter), two great grand sons; Race and Gage of Fairview, MT, their Grandma Terri Coldwell of Jordon, MT. Ruth Ann is also survived by her brother Russell Kesterson and Sister-in-law Fern of Sumatra, MT and family, a sister Donna Walker and brother-in-law George of Billings, MT and family.

Ruth Ann will join those who have preceded her in death parents Verne and Dorothy Kesterson and son Thomas Wayne Schenk.Ruth Ann will not only be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, but as a wonderful sister, sister-in-law and friend. Her love and kindness has touched all of our lives. She is loved and will be missed dearly but God knows best and has called another Angel home.
