My condolences on the loss of a very loveable and spunky woman. It was an honor to have gotten to know and take care of Ruth while I was working at TLC. Some of the stories she would tell while showing me pictures of her family were amazing. She will be dearly missed.

We were just talking about Ruth and that she was the last of the original Moon Creek CommunIty that was such an influence on our lives. She definitely was strong, spunky, kind and generous. She was a hard worker, never gossiped, and gave everyone the benefit of doubt…never complained when things were tough… just held her head high and kept on going. Heaven is now complete for our Moon Creek parents and I wonder if they will celebrate with a picnic like they did when we were kids! RIP Ruth.

Mary and all the family know how many people loved respected and enjoyed your mom. Loved when she’d come to horse races in later years and always liked when she’d come to our house. May God wrap you in his arms and may your precious memories bring you peace ❤️

Dear Marie and all the Benjamin family,
My condolences for your loss. Ruth was a little sparkler. I enjoyed our visits and her stories of her many adventures growing up at Ekalaka. She was such a kind, considerate person and she knew she had a wonderful family that would always “spoil” her a little. Her independent attitude, wit and humor were a lesson for us all. She would laugh and agree with me when I would tell her my father used to say “bet on those Benjamin horses”. I hope you have a great family gathering and celebation of Ruth’s life.
