Ruth Harris 84,of Ashland, MT died Monday Dec. 1, 2003 at her residence.
She was born April 9, 1919 in Bridgman, Michigan the daughterofAlbert andWilhelmina Scharnowske. She married Homer Harris on April 20th, 1940. Their union was blessed with two children, Donald (wife Leone) and Karen Scheckla (husband Craig). She worked at Lake View hospital in Paw Paw, Michigan for 20 years as a ward secretary before moving to Ashland, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Marguerite Prudek and a brother Harold.
Survivors include her husband Homer "Red" Harris, two children, 9 grandchildren, one step grandchild, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and one brother Albert of Bridgman, Michigan
