Ruth Marie Boschee, 89, of Forsyth went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 16, 2016. Born in Forsyth, Montana, Ruth was the youngest child of Mary and William Lentz. She grew up on her family farm in Cartersville and attended school in Rosebud and Forsyth. Ruth work in Forsyth and lived in Cartersville where she met the love of her life, Paul Boschee. They were married at the Concordia Lutheran Church on December 27, 1948. To this union, two children were born: Ronald Ray Boschee and Nancy Ann Boschee (Wagner). She was a devoted mother and while her children were young Ruth remained at home raising her family and supporting her husband Paul while he worked on the railroad. When her children were older Ruth went to work as a bookkeeper for JC Penney, Anthony’s and Bogg’s Chevrolet. Ruth enjoyed sewing for her daughter and granddaughter Shara, dancing, playing cards, maintaining her flowers and nurturing her family. Ruth was a lifelong member of the Concordia Lutheran Church of Forsyth. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 67 years, 3 siblings Al Lentz, Irene Beedle and Willis Lentz, her son Ronald, her granddaughter Brandi Lynn, and son-in- law George Blanchard.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Nevada), daughter-in-law Beverly Nile and her husband Jack (Forsyth), 3 grandchildren: Shara Lynn Boschee (Billings), Danielle Field (Nevada), and Ryan Blanchard (New Mexico). 3 great grandchildren: Zach, Willow, and Julia as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth would be honored, in lieu of flowers, if memorials would be made to the Concordia Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association. Viewing will take place from 12:00 pm to 5pm on Thursday, April 21st at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT. Funeral services will be held at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth at 11am on Friday, April 22nd with internment directly after the service at the Forsyth Cemetery. A luncheon to celebrate Ruth’s life will take place directly after internment at the Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth.
