Sami Ann Gramm, age 62, of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Sami was born in Rock Springs, Montana on November 11, 1941, the daughter of Eugene and Esther (Bickel) Gramm. She attended grade school and graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City. Following graduation, she began working for area businesses and moved to Casper, Wyoming where she lived until 1988. Sami then moved to Reno, Nevada where she worked at I.G.T. Gaming and at Montgomery Wards. She then moved back to Miles City, Montana where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Friendship Villa and the home care. She also raised Pine Hills Dream Shelties and enjoyed crocheting and crafts. She remained on the family ranch to care for her brother and father.
Sami is survived by two daughters: Siva S. Gramm-Rohm and her husband Christopher A. Rohm of Kingston, AZ and Tia Lynn Sternberg of Casper, WY; her grandchildren: Brandon, Nathaniel, Labrae, Cebrina, Christine, Chantale, and Charlotte; her father Eugene Gramm of the Pine Hills; a brother, Raymond Gramm of Miles City, MT; and a sister, Dorothy Whitfield of Miles City, MT.
Her mother and a brother, Gideon, preceded her in death.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Gramm Memorial Fund at Stockman Bank in Miles City.
