Scott Quigley passed away at his home in Spokane after a 3-year battle with cancer. Scott was born in Miles City, Montana to Bob and Lilian (Cloos) Quigley. He attended school in Miles City and at the age of 15, joined the family business, Quigley Masonry. Following Bobs retirement, Scott took over the business.
In 1989, Scott met Sue Minkoff-Allen. In 2002, Scott left Miles City and the two were married in Missoula, Montana. Scott continued to use his masonry skills and talent across Montana and the surrounding states.
Scotty was a quintessential outdoorsman. He loved to camp, hunt, and fish. Whenever he was outdoors, he made note of the natural surroundings and rock that he could use in his business.
Scott’s work meant the world to him. During his chemo treatments, he still worked, dragging his chemo pump along with him. The last few days of his life, he talked about when he would be able to go back to work.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, half sister Barbara Muller, and half-brother Bill Muller.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; a step daughter, Angie Allen, of Spokane; two step sons, Patrick Allen (Jamie Bockness) of Spokane; Dan Allen, of Miles City; granddaughter (the apple of his eye) Camille Hedgecock (Adam DeMott) and great-granddaughter Emery Kay, of Georgia; nephews Todd (Lori) Flor and Dough Brian, all of Arizona; niece Ronda (Todd) Olive of North Carolina.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a remembrance of Scotty at Parker’s Bar on June 27, 2026.
Scott Robert Quigley, age 65, of Spokane, WA formerly of Miles City.
