Sean Thomas (Goff) Whitney, age 22, of Miles City, former Deer Lodge resident, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, in Miles City.
Sean was born October 13, 1986, in Kinsler, Kansas, the son of James Goff and Kari Mulkey Goff. He attended school in Deer Lodge and graduated from high school with honors there. While in high school, Sean was a Montana state championship wrestler. He did construction work and was involved in coaching softball. Sean was a UFC fighter, played softball and was a great person. May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
His survivors include twin daughters, Clara and Elaina; his father, James Goff of Arizona; his brothers, Michael James Cook, Joshua Farley and Daniel DJ Cook, all of Miles City; three aunts, Kimberly Mulkey and Roberta Hudson both of Arizona and Kathy Sandoval of Colorado; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kari Mulkey of Miles City; and his grandparents, Larry and Joann Mulkey of Miles City and Walter Thomas Goff of Missouri.
Family viewing was held on Monday, April 6, 2009 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services are planned for Saturday, April 11, 2009 in Deer Lodge.
