Memorial Service: Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home

Sharon M. Richards, age 63, of Forsyth formerly of Colstrip, passed away on June 6, 2007 at the Billings Clinic.

Sharon was born on July 19, 1943 in Miles City the daughter of Carl and Helen (Johnson) Schmaus. Sharon was raised on the family ranch south of Colstrip near Lame Deer, earning her education from Colstrip. After graduation, Sharon entered the work force as a truck driver and continued driving during her working years. Sharon made her home in Colstrip until moving to Forsyth in the past few years. She loved her dogs, pets in general, her friends and most of all her family especially seeing her two boys.

Sharon is survived by her sons Scott (Fran) Riddell of Plankinton, SD and Richard (Marla) Griffith of Gillette, WY; her granddaughter Kaylee Griffith; one brother John Jack (Carol) of Colstrip; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Leo Schmaus.
