Sharon Ann (Chapweske) Wilson of Glendive Montana formerly of Miles City Montana passed peacefully at the Eastern Montana Veterans Home in Glendive Montana on January 6, 2019. Sharon was 77 years old.
Sharon was born on May 27, 1941 in St. Paul MN. She was the oldest of four children born to Kay and John Chapweske. In 1955 the family moved to Miles City MT, where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School graduating in 1959. Sharon worked as a car hop at A&W and was a waitress at Red Rock in Miles City Montana. Sharon met her soul mate and best friend the late Larry Paul Wilson. They were married December 31, 1960. To this union 3 boys were born, Larry Paul Jr. Ricky Joe and John William. Sharon spent most of her days as a stay at home mom spending time with family and friends. Many days were spent at Spotted Eagle and going to garage sales. Sharon was a Princess House Crystals representative and saleswomen. The family lived in Miles City until 1980 before moving to Glendive when Larry began working in the Oil Field. In Glendive Sharon worked a short time as a waitress at the Rustic. Sharon enjoyed decorating her house during the holidays and keeping up the yard. She loved being outdoors and could always be found watering, weeding and sitting in the sun by her pool. Larry and Sharon enjoyed entertaining friends and family but her biggest love was her boys and all her grandkids.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Larry (Dawn) Wilson Loveland CO, Rick (Stephanie) Wilson Rapid City SD. John (Dana) Wilson Dickinson ND. Ten grandchildren Brandon (Lauren) Wilson Eaton CO, Jason Wilson Kimball NE, Bryant Wilson, Jenna Wilson and Blake Wilson of Loveland CO. Amanda Wilson and Kayla Wilson of Rapid City SD. Brenna Wilson, Carley Wilson and Jaren Wilson of Dickinson ND. Two Great Grandchildren Taylah Wilson of Kimball NE and Aiden Wilson of Eaton CO. One brother Gerald (Tina) Chapweske of Fargo ND. Two Sister In Laws Sue Chapweske and Cathy Chapweske of Miles City MT. Several nieces and nephews. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband Larry Wilson, her parents John and Kay Chapweske, Brothers Jack Chapweske and Bob Chapweske.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City.
