Peggy Latrielle says
Shawnee was a classmate and friend. She noted on numerous occasions that one of the reasons she went into extension work was because of the example of my father. Knowing that would have made him happy. Shawnee certainly was accomplished in all aspects of homemaking, and Prairie County benefited from her talents. When I think of Shawnee, it is with a smile on her face. I will miss her.
