Shelly Rose Booth, age 39 of Poplar, died August 19, 2003 at her home. Cause of death is pending investigation.
She was born February 3, 1964 in Poplar to Everett and Dorothy Booth. Shelly grew up in Poplar and attended school there. She worked as a nurses aid for many years in the Poplar and Wolf Point area. She enjoyed attending powwows and visiting with people. She loved kids and taking care of them.
Her son Devin Booth of Glasgow, brother Kenny Booth of Wolf Point, sister Glenda Moran of Laurel, MT, two adopted sisters, Leeda Meyers of Newton, ND, and Lucy Redekopp of Wolf Point, and numerous nieces and nephews survive Shelly.
Her parents Everett Booth and Dorothy Booth Bearcub, brother Duane Matthew and sister Ione Headdress preceded her in death.
Vigil services will be held on Thursday, August 21 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Poplar with rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Michael Schneider officiating. Interment will be in Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
